The Two-Step Check-in feature is accessible based on a MMC Setting available at the Team Owner level. If you are a Team Owner and would like to learn more about turning on this feature please review the Settings here (This feature is currently in Beta - please reach out to your Account Manager if you would like to explore this functionality further). If you are a Team Manager or Team Member role - please reach out to your MMC Team Administrator.
The Check-in feature allows you to record in-person activities with the tap of a button. The two-step check-in allows you to more easily capture the duration of an in-person interaction and to access important Company or People information while a check-in may be ongoing.
You can select whether check-ins are logged in for a Company, Person, or both from the Settings menu. The check-in feature will search for the closest record in your database based on your current location.
To Check-in:
- Tap the home icon at the bottom Navigation menu.

If you are not physically at one account, click the blue “Check-in” button automatically identify your current location and suggest the closest Companies or Person records to use on your check-ins

If you are currently located at an account, a blue banner will appear prompting you to Check In to that specific account
- Clicking the Check In button within the banner will automatically log your Activity.
- Clicking the Check In button within the banner will automatically log your Activity.
- Once the Check-In button is selected - you will be brought into the Active Check-In state. Here you will have quick access to the record that you are checked into to access any necessary information while the Check-in runs in the background

To Check Out and log information about your interaction - click the Check-out button from
- The Active Check-in State
- The Home Screen
- The gray check mark that will appear on all tabs of the application
- The record card on the Route (This option is specific to having created and started running a Route)
NOTE: You will not be able to Check-in to another record until you have checked-out of your active Check-in Activity

Upon selecting the Check-out button, you will be brought into the Activity form to finish filling out the necessary information from your interaction. For more information on the different elements of an Activity, visit this article.
- You will notice that the Check-in Activity has captured the Start and End times of this interaction based on the Check-in and Check-out time respectively
- Check-Ins are intended to capture in person Activities. When changing the Activity Type of a Check-In, some non-in-person Activity Types i.e. Emails or Phone Calls may be disabled by your MMC administrator
