Bulk Email enables users to send mass emails through MMC. Emails are automatically logged AND tracked, allowing reps and managers to spend less time on administrative tasks and more time in the field.
Bulk Email is a premium add-on feature. To inquire about adding this functionality to your MMC account - please contact your Account Manager or fill out the interest form here!
To turn on Bulk Email:
- Go to Settings by clicking on the Gear Icon
- Navigate to the “Email Preferences” tab under Personal Settings on the left-hand side
- Hit the blue “Let’s Go” button in the center of the screen
- Click through the email connection set up process with your appropriate email provider allowing MMC to access and send emails through your provider respectively
- Completion of this process will bring you back into the MMC Email Preferences set up page with the ability to configure adding Email settings within MMC
Connected Email:
The Connected Email will show the Email from which MMC will send from when using the native / bulk email functionality inside the tool.
Select “Disconnect” to remove the 3rd party email connection
Select “Change Email” to connect a different email to send from out of MMC
Email Queue:
Emails that cannot be sent will be added to the queue. This can happen when either 1) it is outside the sending hours or 2) the max daily email send limit has been reached.
Users are capped at 700 emails per day. The limit resets at midnight. Any emails not sent because the limit has been reached will be added to a queue and sent at the next available time.
Clearing the queue cancels all unsent emails, leaving the queue empty and canceling all activities that are scheduled to be created.
Signature:
The email signature is created here. When there is a signature saved, it automatically loads into the email body on open of email as plain text
The Signature feature can be turned on or off using the toggle appropriately
Sending Hours:
By default, Sending Hours are 8am - 6pm within the local timezone. There is a check box option to exclude weekends. Sending Hours prevent queued emails from being sent at strange/non-working hours.
Open Activity Form:
If your MMC Layout configurations do not have any required fields on the Email Activity Type, this setting can be toggled off to automatically generate the Activity without the need to fill the form out.
If you would like to be able to edit the logged MMC Activity / Activities such as adding custom field information or additional notes - this setting can be toggled on
Show opens and clicks:
See whether or not your email or the links within your email have been opened. Turn this setting off to reduce any clutter within the Activity view.
Note: Any Email Preferences settings configurations made within the MMC Web application will also reflect within the Mobile app as well
