Pinning Fields allows you to highlight the fields and information most important to you when you click into a record on the map or view them in the Map List View. This can include standard information like phone number or your most important Custom Fields such as Sales Tier
To access Pinned Fields:
- Go to Settings by clicking on the Gear Icon
- Navigate to the “Pinned Fields” tab under Forms & Fields on the left-hand side
To add and edit Pinned Fields:
- Select the blue “Add Field” button in the upper right corner of the table
- Determine if you are pinning fields for the Company, People or Deal object
- Note: Pinned fields on a Person or Deal will be visible within the card view of the Relationships tab so it is helpful to pin information like Person Title to avoid having to fully open the record to see this information:

- Select which field from the dropdown list you would like pinned on a record. Upon selection - the field will automatically appear below the appropriate record type
- As an organization owner, you can select fields to display to your entire organization, certain teams, or keep them private to you
- Use the grab icons on the left side of the field name to rearrange the order of the fields
- Use the X icon on the right side of the field to remove any fields from the Pinned Fields
- Note: Team Members cannot remove fields that have been pinned by their team manager or team owners
- Use the Quick Actions and Engagement info toggles to determine if and to whom this information should be present in the record preview
- Finalize any changes made by hitting the blue “Save Changes” button in the upper right corner
TIP: Fields do not need to be pinned to be visible on a record - all fields can always be accessed via the Details tab. Pinning fields brings the most important fields (whatever that means to you and your team!) to the forefront. We recommend pinning ~2-5 fields per object!
