Smart Suggestions help you to strategically fill your Planner by suggesting various types of actions you may take during the open time. Smart Suggestions will prompt you to fill your day with stops at nearby companies, follow-ups with records that have gone off Frequency, and much more.
Note: You cannot choose which smart suggestions appear or toggle this feature on or off. Smart Suggestions are based on your specific planner/ activities.
Fill gaps in your day
Smart Suggestion will be triggered when you have time gap on a specific day where other Activities are already logged. The "Fill Gaps in your day" banner will pull up quick actions you can perform in your spare time, such as checking in with overdue accounts, finding new companies to prospect via Lead Finder, or reviewing current to-dos.
To use the Fill Gaps banner:
- Click the yellow Smart Suggestion with the message “Looks like you have extra time today,” tap on “Tap to fill out your calendar.”
- This will bring you to the quick actions page; from this page, you can perform various actions
- Tap on the action you want to perform
To use Quick Schedule:
Use this to search for specific Companies, People and Deals you would like to plan an Activity with
- Selecting the search option here will bring you to the Map view, where you can use the Search Bar to look for specific records already in your Map My Customers account that you would like to interact with
To use Past Due records:
Use this to find any records that may be overdue for an Activity in their Frequency and to quickly plan an Activity with one of these records
- Select the Past Due widget option
- You will be redirected to the Map view with a Filter applied for records that have a Frequency Status Past Due
- To view a list of your past due records, scroll up the List View from the bottom of the Map tab
- Tap into the pin on the Map or from the List View
- This will show you more details about this record, such as their address, last contact date, and Groups information
- Tap “Add activity to planner”
- Fill out relevant Activity information
- Select Schedule Activity to finalize the creation of the Activity to appear on the Planner
To use No recent contact:
Use this to find any records that have not had an associated Activity in the past 30 days and to quickly plan an Activity with one of these records
- Select the No Recent Contact widget option
- You will be redirected to the Map view with a Filter applied for records that have No contact in > 30 days
- To view a list of your past due records, scroll up the List View from the bottom of the Map tab
- Tap into the pin on the Map or from the List View
- This will show you more details about this record, such as their address, last contact date, and Groups information
- Tap “Add activity to planner”
- Fill out relevant Activity information
- Select Schedule Activity to finalize the creation of the Activity to appear on the Planner
To use Rotting deals:
Use this to find any Deals that have been sitting in a Stage longer than the appropriate time limit set and to quickly plan an Activity with one of these records
- Select the Rotting Deals widget option
- You will be redirected to the Map view with a Filter applied for Deals records that have Deal Status is Rotting
- To view a list of your Rotting Deals, scroll up the List View from the bottom of the Map tab
- Tap into the pin on the Map or from the List View
- This will show you more details about this record, such as their address, last contact date, and Groups information
- Tap “Add activity to planner”
- Fill out relevant Activity information
- Select Schedule Activity to finalize the creation of the Activity to appear on the Planner
To Find new companies:
Use this to find new records not already in your book of business to add to your MMC database
- Select the Find New Leads widget
- Refer to the Find Leads article for more step by step instructions on using the Lead Finder tool
To Review open to-dos:
Use this to see all Activities without an associated due date and time
- Select the Review open to-dos widget
- You will be redirect to the Planner List View filtered by Status is not scheduled
- Tap onto an Activity and select a start and end time to that Activity to add to your Planner
- Select Save to finalize these changes
Find records near set appointments
This Smart Suggestion will be prompted when you have nearby Companies or People to a pre-existing activity for that day. Find records near set appointments will show nearby records with the activities already on your Planner.
To Find records near set appointments Smart Suggestion:
- You will see a blue smart suggestion with the message “Nearby customers found”
- Tap on “Tap for details”
- You will be redirected to the Map tab with a radius around the record with a scheduled or completed Activity on your Planner
- To view a list of your records nearby the existing Activity, scroll up the List View from the bottom of the Map tab
- Tap into the pin on the Map or from the List View
- This will show you more details about this record, such as their address, last contact date, and Groups information
- Tap “Add activity to planner”
- Fill out relevant Activity information
- Select Schedule Activity to finalize the creation of the Activity to appear on the Planner
Records set to go off Frequency
Records set to go off Frequency Smart Suggestion will be prompted if you have any records set to go past due on that day.
To apply a Records set to go off Frequency Smart Suggestion:
- You will see a red smart suggestion with the message “Records due to be seen today”
- Tap on “Tap to schedule follow-ups.”
- You will be redirected to the Map tab with a Filter applied for all records due to go off Frequency on the specified day
- To view a list of your records going off Frequency scroll up the List View from the bottom of the Map tab
- Tap into the pin on the Map or from the List View
- This will show you more details about this record, such as their address, last contact date, and Groups information
- Tap “Add activity to planner”
- Fill out relevant Activity information
- Select Schedule Activity to finalize the creation of the Activity to appear on the Planner
