Smart suggestions allow you to add nearby customers for outreach in line with your scheduled activities. Smart Suggestions will prompt you to fill your day with stops at nearby companies, follow-ups with records that have gone over cadence, and much more.
Note, you cannot choose which smart suggestions appear or toggle this feature on or off. Smart Suggestions are based on your specific planner/ activities.
Fill gaps in your day
Smart Suggestion will be triggered when you have gap time on a specific day if the day is not empty. Fill gaps in your day will pull up quick actions you can perform in your spare time, such as checking in with overdue accounts, finding new companies, or reviewing current to-dos.
How to:
- You will see a yellow Smart Suggestion with the message “Looks like you have extra time today,” tap on “Tap to fill your calendar.”
- This will bring you to the quick actions page; from this page, you can perform various actions.
- Tap on the action you want to perform.
To use Quick Schedule:
- Use this to search for specific accounts, companies, and deals.
- This will bring you to the map view, where you can use the Search Bar to look for specific companies, people, or deals already in your Map My Customers account.
To use Overdue records:
- Use this to find any companies that may be overdue for a visit in their cadence.
- This will bring you to the map view with a view of all of your overdue companies, people, and deals.
- To view a list of your overdue records, scroll up on the screen.
- Tap into either the pin or the record from the list view.
- This will show you more details about this record, such as their address, last contact date, and groups.
- Tap “Add activity to planner.”
- This will bring you to an add activity screen.
- Create an activity for that record.
To use No recent contact:
- Use this to find any companies that have not had an associated activity in the past 30 days.
- This will bring you to the map view with a view of all of your companies, people, and deals with no recent contact.
- To view a list of your records with no recent contact, scroll up on the screen.
- Tap into either the pin or the record from the list view.
- This will show you more details about this record, such as their address, last contact date, and groups.
- Tap “Add activity to planner.”
- This will bring you to an add activity screen.
- Create an activity for that record.
To use Rotting deals:
- Use this to find any deals that have not had an associated activity in the past 30 days.
- This will bring you to the map view with a view of all of your rotting deals.
- To view a list of your deals, scroll up on the screen.
- Tap into either the pin or the record from the list view.
- This will show you more details about this record, such as their address, last contact date, and groups.
- Tap “Add activity to planner.”
- This will bring you to an add activity screen.
- Create an activity for that record.
To Find new companies:
- Use this to find new companies not already in your book of business.
- This will bring you to the map view with lead gen.

To Review open to-dos:
- Use this to see all activities without an associated time.
- This will bring you to the Planner List view filtered by all untimed stats.
- Tap onto an activity.
- This will bring you to select a start and end time to that activity to add to your planner.
Find records near set appointments
This Smart Suggestion will be prompted when you have nearby companies or people to a pre-existing activity for that day. Find records near set appointments will show nearby customers with the closest activities.
To Find records near set appointments Smart Suggestion:
- You will see a blue smart suggestion with the message “Nearby customers found.”
- Tap on “Tap for details.”
- This will bring you to the map with a view of all of your nearby customers.
- To view a list of your customers, scroll up on the screen.
- Tap into either the pin or the record from the list view.
- This will show you more details about this record, such as their address, last contact date, and groups.
- From here, you can perform various quick actions such as checking into this account, calling, emailing, or adding to a route.
Records set to go over cadence
Records set to go over cadence Smart Suggestion will be prompted if you have any records set to go overdue on that day.
To apply a Records set to go over cadence Smart Suggestion:
- You will see a red smart suggestion with the message “Record to go over cadence today.”
- Tap on “Tap to schedule follow-ups.”
- This will bring you to the map with a view of all of your overdue records.
- To view a list of your overdue records, scroll up on the screen.
- Tap into either the pin or the record from the list view,
- This will show you more details about this record, such as their address, last contact date, and groups.
- From here, you can perform various quick actions such as checking into this account, calling, emailing, or adding to a route.
